Concrete is the NEW Black

I recently worked with a client who wanted to purchase a concrete piece of furniture for her newly renovated home. She had no idea what she wanted, only that it had to be concrete as a friend had informed her that ‘concrete is the new black’.

If like my client, you are looking to incorporate concrete into your home but don’t know where to start then scroll down – this is a list of my favourite concrete pieces. I promise you will be inspired.

If you’re not ready to commit to a piece of furniture at this stage then why not consider a concrete bowl? The Louis bowl by nood co. is a great statement piece and is available in a range of colours – the blush pink if my favourite!

Ready for the next level of concrete commitment? Go for a coffee table! This is the perfect option for renters – easy enough to move if required, large enough to be a statement piece in you house. I love my concrete coffee table, I’ve had it for years however i’m seriously considering replacing it with this stunner by SLABSHAPERS.

If you are lucky enough to be designing a new kitchen at the moment then you should seriously consider a concrete bench top. Concrete is a modern alternative to marble and is ideal for a clean finish. Need more convincing? Check out Concrete Studio. They have a great portfolio including this great space!

And last but not least…for the concrete loving dogs out there; the SLABSHAPERS concrete dog bowl. Available in a range of sizes and includes an engraved copper name tag!
